Haley was a very typey bitch with a gorgeous rear and correct shoulder layback. She just floated around the ring. Haley had an irrepressible attitude and gave 110% in anything that you asked of her.

CONFORMATION: Haley took Best of Breed at the 1998 USASA National Speciality. Haley was nationally ranked in the 1998 AKC conformation standings--#6 in the nation in Australian Shepherds with very limited showing. At 8 years of age, Haley took back to back BOB wins in Nov 2003 at the Back Mountain AKC shows here in PA.

AGILITY: Haley completed her novice standard agility title in Feb 2002. It took her just 5 trials to finish her title--she loves to compete. We also earned the 1st leg towards Haley's novice jumpers with weaves title at the same show--1st time for either of us to compete in this game. Our 1st time out in Apr 2003, Haley was able to earn her 2nd leg towards her Novice JWW title with a 2nd place finish. After only 3 trials, Haley finished her novice jumpers with weaves title in May 2003 with a 2nd place finish.

Haley finished her open standard agility title in Oct 2003 with a 2nd place finish. She finished up her open jumpers with weaves title with a 2nd place finish at the Dec 2003 Tamarack trials. AND earned one leg towards her excellent standard title bringing a 1st place ribbon home for that leg earned. Many thanks to Mel Eng, our friend and sometimes conformation and agility handler, for guiding Haley to her open titles. In Jan 2005, she earned a 2nd leg towards her AX title with a 1st place finish at the Altoona trial. The 3nd and final leg for the AX title was earned in March 2005 with a 3rd place run.
OBEDIENCE:During May 2002 while visiting the Shopes in NM, Haley earned her ASCA CD with Stephanie's guidance in just 4 shows taking 2 high in trials!!! We earned our 1st leg towards Haley's AKC CD title at the Nitanee Kennel Club show in July 2003. Haley was one of 2 dogs to qualify earning a 1st place ribbon and even won some money for her placement. Haley earned her 2nd leg towards her AKC CD title Fall 2003 at the Altoona KC show--taking a 2nd place in a class of 10 dogs--we again won our entry fee back:) Haley completed her AKC CD title at our MNDTC shows June 2004--taking a 2nd place on Sat and 1st place on Sun for a forth "insurance" leg. Not too shabby, for a gal who hadn't competed in obedience since her last trial Fall 2003.
RALLY: Nearing 12 years of age, Haley made it apparent she was not content being a couch potato so we tried out hand at Rally. During the summer of 2007, Haley earned her rally novice title in just 3 trials. In fact in one of them she had a score of 99/100 for a 3rd place finish. Not too shabby for a gal that appeared to be hard of hearing--or would that be selective hearing:)
